Hello. We are Piranha Sandals. We like long walks on the beach and we hate blisters. After years of struggling to find the perfect sandal, a flip flop that adjusted to our feet and not the other way around, we remembered that if you want something done right, you better just do it yourself. After all, we have almost two decades of experience working with molded and die-cut foam, webbing, adhesives, and durable fabrics for our top of the line kayak seats at Surf to Summit Inc. How hard could it be to transfer that know-how and manufacturing capability to a premium sandal line? Well, you know how the saying goes, "Famous last words..." It ultimately took over two years to develop a sandal that we were proud to put our name on, but you will feel every second of research and development with every step you take.

The Pro Fit Sandal, our flagship model, features a patented design that is not available from any other footwear manufacturer and is manufactured in the USA. Two layers of premium foam unite to provide unrivaled support that molds to the shape of your foot without that painful break in period. The bottom layer is firm and supportive, providing a durable framework, ample grip, and a moldable sole that we can impress with any design. The top layer is supple and airy, a low density foam that responds to the foot shape of the individual wearer. This is finished off with a layer of durable weatherproof, washable, printable fabric that we can imbue with any artwork, text, photograph, or company logo. If you can see it, we can print it!

We're proud of our soles, but where the Pro Fit really shines is the strap department. Designed from scratch, in our facility on the shores of Santa Barbara, CA, our patented adjustable strap system is nothing short of a revelation for the flip flop industry. The straps feature smooth fabric and foam for a soft, comfortable feel that never chafes or causes blisters. They are also fully adjustable, with an overlapping Velcro system that will accommodate feet of any shape or size. Over time all sandal foot beds get compressed and will take the form of your foot which results in the sandal loosening up. As the foam compresses it creates more room and more room means a loose fit. We solved this by making an adjustable strap that you can tighten as the sandal wears in. Furthermore, the straps are interchangeable and replaceable. You can purchase additional straps with different designs or colors and change them out for any occasion or outfit, or if your straps ever wear out or break (a highly unlikely scenario) you can replace them without having to sacrifice the entire foot bed as well.

In addition to the limitless potential for the individual customer to customize the fit and style of their sandal, the printable surface on our Pro Fit and Beacher lines make the perfect medium for fun and unique promotional items.
